Great Britain Rugby Sevens have named the men’s and women’s squads for the next HSBC World SVNS Series event, which starts in Hong Kong on Friday 28th March 2025.
The teams enter the fifth tournament of the 2024/25 season on a positive note, with the menhaving placed fifth in the Vancouver event last month and the women finishing sixth.
Emma Uren returns from injury to captain a women’s squad currently ranked seventh in the season standings, whilst Harry Glover will lead the men’s team in Hong Kong.
Two GB7s World Series debutants will be making the trip, with James Pavey and Grace White included in a squad for the first time.

Both teams start their weekends against France, with the men’s first match of the tournamentat 3.16am GMT and the women’s at 4.02am GMT.
